How does it work?
Payroll Giving offers tax-free donations that are deducted directly from your salary. It is the most tax-efficient method of giving, as donations are taken after National Insurance but before tax.
By choosing Payroll giving, you are contributing to a sustainable income stream for YAA, which not only aids in saving lives across Yorkshire but also empowers the Charity to plan effectively for the future.
There are lots of benefits to offering a Payroll Giving scheme for your employees regardless of the size of the business.
Employer Benefits
Shows commitment to your employees
Improves staff morale and motivation

Employee Benefits

(A donation of £5 a month would cost an employee £4 from their take-home pay if they pay 20% tax, or £3 (if they pay 40% tax)
Chance to give to a charity they support
Flexible – control over how much they want to donate
YAA currently offers two Payroll Giving providers: Give All allows employees to make a monthly donation of a specified amount, while the Pennies from Heaven scheme rounds down an employee’s salary to the nearest pound, with the remaining pennies donated to YAA.
